I finished planting my garden about a week ago, and already I see most of my seedlings springing to life. This year I wanted to try my hand at an assortment of herbs, so I took the wooden pallet route and now have three of them set around the rest of my vegetable garden. I also have a section for flowers. (Yes, a whole post dedicated to that coming shortly- can't give too much away yet!)
In addition to all the outdoor and barn work going on around here, and the pleasant seasonal chaos of this particular time of year, I am getting a goat! Two goats, actually- but the baby one is mine. (Again, I'll wait on details- spoilers!)
My goal this year has been to get a lot of practice in on sewing, gardening, baking, and such. And I've made progress... but as you might expect, it all puts me in a kind of mood... one that Pinterest can portray pretty accurately.
So I put together a few collages out of my Homesteading and Housekeeping board.
And very soon I will have pictures and posts about my own little homesteading and housekeeping projects.
Coming Up:
The Gardens
The Goats
Sewing Projects
New Recipes
and
...A Renaissance Faire!
